Selection criteria
In your nomination, you must present your information in a way that clearly addresses each criterion. We will be looking for evidence of how your on and off-the-job training has contributed to:
your career and study plans
the development of your skills and your achievements to date
any way in which your training may have helped you achieve other pursuits or goals
the development of your union values and core beliefs.
In developing your nomination, you may wish to take into account some or all of the considerations outlined in each
criterion.
These considerations are not additional criteria, rather are provided to give clarification and guidance of what may be
relevant to include when addressing the criteria in your application.
Criteria 1: Career and study achievements
Consider things such as:
any personal or career gains you have achieved from participating in your studies and your job
how you can demonstrate your understanding of the VET system and the value it has in Australia
how you have integrated on and off-the-job training and what benefits this has held
the commitment to your apprenticeship, including satisfactory progression of on and off-the-job training
requirements
the importance of up-to-date E-Profiling records
how you contribute to safety in the workplace
